I was diagnosed with Huntington's disease over 25 years ago. My mother died at the age of 63 years old and she was symptomatic for the most part of my 3 children's lives growing up. They saw her throughout her disease and will see me through my journey. They are all at risk for this disease and our hope is that a cure finds its way soon to put an end to it. I rely on prayers and the support of this community as I continue to navigate with positivity, love, and taking things day by day. I continue to pray for this community and although I am finding many things more difficult than before to be able to do, I continue to have hope for a cure.
